SCHOOL
School Within a School is an academic enrichment program for students struggling to catch up.
Trained volunteers from the community are paired with an ICS student and come on a regular schedule for an entire year to work one-on-one with their protégé.
For children newly arrived to this country, struggling to adjust to the rhythms of formal school life and learning in a new language, this individualized attention makes all the difference in their ability to succeed.

Students in first through sixth grades benefit from School Within a School tutoring.
Each child meets with their tutor at least once a week for between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the needs of the child.
