Sports is a universal language, and at ICS, where a single classroom can hold native speakers of more than ten languages at any one time, playing together can provide a vital bridge of communication.

Soccer is a big favorite among students from all over the world and in addition to in-school physical education, ICS has 12 soccer teams.

Swimming classes are offered after-school in conjunction with the Decatur YMCA, and an early morning running club helps students to train for the Junior Peachtree Road Race.
